Pioneering Academia & Leadership: With a PhD in Latin American Studies from Tulane, I belong to the rare less than 2% of Latinxs with this distinction. From educational institutions to nonprofits and corporate America, I’ve led through adversities like COVID-19 and Hurricane Ida. I am certified by the International Coaching Federation, and bring over 15 years of expertise in coaching, facilitating, and researching leadership, identity, and inclusivity.

Dr. Ana María works with organizations to create inclusive and equitable cultures, policies, and practices. She is a certified member of the International Coaching Federation and has over 15 years of experience in coaching, facilitating, and researching diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) topics.
Dr. Ana María holds a PhD in Latin American Studies from Tulane University, where she examined the socioeconomic stratification system in Colombia. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and proficient in Portuguese, and has a passion for cross-cultural learning and collaboration.
